Hi All,

Does any one know the support for Microsoft Dynamic Ax application ? If support then what object Recorder will help to identify object from Microsoft Dynamic Ax application as it will be desktop application.

Thanks

Is the desktop application written in WPF or WinForms? If that is the case, CUITe will support it. However, there is no Object Recorder for desktop applications, everything needs to be handwritten.

Hi Disore,

Thanks Disore for reply.

I do not have any concept of Microsoft Dynamic Ax application. Whether MS Dy.Ax has its own Object like button, checkbox or MS Dy. Ax will use GUI as WinForm or WPF object.

So, I am not sure about it. However I am sure that it is Desktop application using MS Dy. Ax technology.

Thanks

I would try to use Visual Studio's built-in Coded UI Test Recorder and see which controls it detects as being used in the desktop application.

I don't have any experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX, but here is a related project:

It seems the application uses WinControls, but it may depend on the version being tested:
