Html Custom Attribute

Hello All,

Can someone please explain to me, when do we use HtmlCustom types in CUITe (CUITe_HtmlCustom)?

Thanks,
Kay

Kay,

We use CUITe_HTMLCustom whenever we encounter an element that isn't supported in CUITe but that we still want to interact with it. For instance if you wanted to pull the text out of a <div id=something>My Text</div> and it wasn't supported in CUITe (this is supported in CUITe BTW) you could use the CUITe_HtmlCustom type to search for it.

CUITe_HTMLCustom myElement = new CUITe_HTMLCustom("ID=something");

Thank you for your response. Can you please tell me how to get control specific interaction behavior for CUITe_HtmlCustom?

In other words, if CUITe does not support Combobox (DropDown) and we need to implement it as custom control, how would we define functionality like setItem(int index)?

I haven't tried this, but something like this might work
test.UnWrap().SetProperty("SelectedItem", index);
